Óðinn – the 2.0 version

Oh yes here comes Óðinn

Ragga just HAD to make a top down version of Óðinn. After all, she’s pretty much obsessed with top-down knitting. The new pattern includes both versions, top down and bottom up, new and revised pattern charts and a really cool table with all the numerical data for the top down version. You can buy it through Ravelry. The model on the new photos is the hugely popular Icelandic crime novel author Stefán Máni.

Óðinn is one of the patterns on the instructional DVD Knit your own Lopapeysa.

Óðinn is a strong and warm Lopapeysa knit with the bulky but surprisingly light Álafoss lopi. The pattern is classic and so are the colors. Although, if you feel like changing the colors to shocking pink and turquoise, just do it!
